Rich Rillz and Icewear Vezzo have yet again given us something to hop on with their collab titled “Paid.”
Rich Rillz, whose real name is Robert McHenry, is signed to Vamp Life Records, founded by legendary rapper Jim Jones (JimJonesCapo). He hails from Harlem, New York City, and is influenced by artists such as The Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z, Max B, Dipset, Young Jeezy, and Jadakiss.
The rapper partnered with Harlem native Jim Jones in 2023 under his label Vamp Life Records and Empire, aiming to support his career and other major projects.
Under the label, he has released projects like “Re-Up,” a single featuring Jim Jones, which served as an inspirational anthem for people striving toward their dreams.
His most recent release is “Paid,” which features Detroit Top rapper Icewear Vezzo—which delves into themes of financial success, street credibility, and the journey from adversity to prosperity.
Icewear Vezzo is a prominent rapper and entrepreneur known for his significant contributions to the Detroit hip-hop scene. The top artist from Detroit was born Chivez Smith on October 31, 1989.
He first began his career with the rap group Green Guyz before going solo.
He gained initial recognition with his “The Clarity” mixtape series, particularly “The Clarity 3: Fully Blown,” which charted on Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums.
He is also the first Detroit hip-hop artist to be signed to Motown Records and dropped his first project, “Clarity 6,” featuring Kash Doll, under the label.
His “Rich Off Pints” project further solidified his status, with other notable tracks featuring Lil Durk and Future. It was a huge success, widely accepted by fans.
