Taylor Ricard breaking boundaries with his music after life offers him a second chance
Louisiana singer Taylor Ricard is capitalizing on the second chance life has given him by breaking boundaries with his music. The Baton Rouge native has been making big moves as he recently featured in an interview with Crash The Industry TV, which will be dropping soon.
Taylor was sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2015, but he was released on good behavior after serving just 7 years of his sentence. Two years after he was released he started making big moves and featured on Jim Jones ‘Too Turnt’ alongside Dilla Illa to which they did the music video as well. The song has amassed 330 thousand views on YouTube after seven months and has also made it to several play lists on Spotify.
Jim Jones as we all know is a name synonymous with Harlem hip hop and a core member of the renowned Dipset crew. Jim is a respectable name in the industry for more than just his lyrics and longevity but also his ability to spot upcoming talent and his record with Ricard is a good example. The feature introduced Ricard Taylor to a completely new audience, increasing his fan base and boosting his monthly listeners on Spotify and also his YouTube audience.
Taylor Ricard has been making music ever since he was a child and according to the Baton native, he was inspired by his late grandmother who he used to sing spiritual songs with. He is currently signed to Sociiiety The Label owned by Latin American entrepreneur Damaris Valerio popularly known as Lady Boss.
Damaris Valerio has made it possible for Ricard to be able to work beside Jadakiss, Cardi B, NBA YoungBoy, Keen Streetz, Dyce Payso, Sauce Walka, Jim Jones and many other artists on different shows and projects. She currently has three artists, Taylor Ricard, Daniel Heartless and Tify Da Don signed to her label.
