Soulja Boy has called out Drake saying he copied his flow, citing Drake’s flow song ‘Miss Me?’ from his 2010 debut album “You Can Thank Me Later” to prove his point.
During his sit down with The Breakfast Club, the rapper accused Drake of stealing his rapping style. While talking about his role in the evolution of Hip Hop, Soulja Boy mentioned that he deserves accolades for his contribution to the rap game.
The rapper didn’t end there, he went as far as accusing Drake of copying his flow. After Charlamagne tha God mentioned Drake as the biggest rapper in the world while talking about his beef with Meek Mill, Soulja Boy was in complete disagreement. The Chicago rapper busted out and left his seat while asking mentioning the fact that he got out rapper by Pusha T as one of the reasons why he cannot be the biggest rapper in the world.
“Drakeeeee? The **** that got bodied by Pusha T? The **** that hid his kid from the world? Stop playing with me like I ain’t teach Drake everything he knows,”
The Chicago rapper then went on to claim that Drake stole his flow in his first song ‘Miss Me?’ from his 2010 debut album “You Can Thank Me Later”. Soulja Boy claimed Drake stole the flow from his 2008 collaboration with Sammie “Kiss Me Thru The Phone,”.
Y’all ain’t heard Drake on his first song ‘Miss Me?’”
he asked before imitating the track from Drake’s 2010 debut You Can Thank Me Later to prove his point.
“That’s Soulja, he copied my whole ****ing flow. Word for word, bar for bar. Don’t act like I don’t make Drake”
While the two songs are similar, it’s not clear if Drake stole Soulja Boy’s flow, or if the two songs are just similar.
